Large mirror with pediment. Regency period.Typical regency work with stylized scallop on the pediment adorned with stylets., The lower part with a carved wooden frame of the decoration called a la Bérain. A famous decorator under Louis XIV, on a line of a row of intertwined pearls. The pediment very proven by its important par-lose, technique, showing the small pieces of openwork mirror, separated by acanthus foliage from the fall of flowers, rows of pearls recalling the lower part, flower baskets with crosses similar to those of the Castle of Versailles.
