Exceptional French limestone antique fireplace surround from the 17th century. It was installed in a Castle in Lyon The proportions are of a rarely seen quality. It is the type of chimney piece that one could find back in the paintings of Abraham Bose. The mantle was presented on the Pan Amsterdam art and antique fair in 2008.
