This Rouge Languedoc marble fireplace embodies the Renaissance Revival style with its intricate detailing and craftsmanship.
The deep red marble, accented with striking white veining, gives it a luxurious and opulent appearance.
The fireplace features two prominent columns on either side, topped with ornate capitals, which support a substantial mantelpiece adorned with detailed carvings. This exquisite piece was reclaimed from a stately 19th-century mansion in Antwerp.
Interestingly, a similar mantel style can be found in the famous Parc Chinois Restaurant in London, where it creates a unique and atmospheric ambiance.
It's a beautiful example of how historic elements can continue to add character and elegance to modern decors.
